Planned Giving - A Lasting Legacy
Members of Laguna Niguel Presbyterian
Church have an opportunity to support the church's needs and leave a
lasting legacy through careful estate planning.
Estate planning should be conducted
with an expert who can help identify the elements that meet individual
and family needs. This will include a will, methods of reducing
probate costs and estate taxes, naming guardians for dependents, a
living will and powers of attorney.
YOUR LEGACY
Through
Planned Giving, it is possible for you to support the church for many
years to come using a portion of your estate to continue God's work at
LNPC. There are four primary ways to support the church:
- Direct gift or bequest to the
Operating Fund
- Bequest to the Memorial Fund
- Gift or bequest to the
LNPC Endowment Fund.
The
Planned Giving Committee will be
happy to assist you in deciding which of these four options is best for
you.
The Endowment Fund is unique
because it is a perpetual fund and it allows you to specify how the
income is to be used. To learn more about the Endowment Fund,

Any planned giving should be
coordinated with a certified financial planner, or an attorney
specializing in estate planning. These experts can explain the
pros and cons of various plans, including relatively sophisticated
vehicles such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts,
etc (more
info).
Your
Planned Giving Committee
can help you find a qualified expert.
