Sunday School

Our dynamic Sunday school classes are Bible centered, exploring stories from both the old & new testaments.  Children play games, make crafts and dig into the Bible as they focus on the weekly Bible point and memory verse.

Children begin worship with their families in the Sanctuary.  Early in the service the children are invited to come forward for a special "Children's Message."  After the Children's Message, they are escorted to their Sunday school classes by their teachers.  All classes meet in the McCullen Center, the two-story building next to the church.   After the service, parents pick up their children in their respective classrooms.

Classes are held for all ages - pre-K through high school. 

• Preschool and Kindergarten age meet in the Sunshine Room located on the 1st floor.

• Grades 1-2 meet in Classroom #204 (The Forest) located on the 2nd floor.

• Grades 3-5 meet in Classroom #202(The Ocean) on the 2nd floor.

• Youth meet in the 2nd floor Youth Room.

Other Activities

The "Market Place" Reward System

Children are given the opportunity to earn coins in Sunday School by bringing their Bibles to church, memorizing a weekly Bible verse and having good attendance.  They can the purchase pencils, pens, books, Christian jewelry and small toys with the coins at the Market Place.

Nursery/Childcare

Loving childcare is available for your infants & toddlers during both services.  Our Nursery is located in the hallway to your right as you enter the sanctuary.  A baby-friendly “Quiet Room” is also available across from the Nursery if parents wish to worship together as a family.

MOPS - Mothers of Preschool Children meets Wednesday morning.  More.

Pathfinders - Meets 3:30 -5:15 on Wednesday. The theme is "Make Your Words Count"  for the period April 14th through May26th. The cost is $15 per child, or $25 for 2, or $35 for 3 or more.

Explore who God is through Bible stories, music, crafts, recreation and snacks.  Ages K – 5th grade meet on Wednesdays during the school year for a fun-filled afternoon of new friends and new discoveries.   For more information call 249-1218 or e-mail us at kids@lnpc.org.

Vacation Bible Camp - July 12-16, 2010.  Held at the church, the public is welcome. The theme will be “The High Seas."  VBC Sunday will be July 18, 2010.

Every summer at LNPC we offer an action-packed week of camp for children 4 years through 5th Grade.  Our theme-based camp is filled with super-charged activities including recreation, drama, interactive music and crafts.  We end the week with a family friendly service and In-N-out Burger Bash, complete with a water slide & bounce house!  Download the Registration Form and Medical Release Form.  More info.
